- May 20th[Friday]Nod will be at the Sports Corner in Mandeville! The show will begin at 10 and we are going to have two Maven and Pin Point Square there backing us up. This show promises to be a good one so don't go missing it. *UPDATE* Maven had to drop out but they sent us Downfall a great cover band to help us out... it was a Great Show made some new friends... look out!
- April 9th[Saturday]Nod will be on the Main Stage of the Strawberry Festival. We will be playing at 4pm at the 2nd largest festival in Louisiana! (2nd only to Mardi Gras). And get this... Right after we get off the stage.... One word says it all.... Zebra! Don't miss this once in a lifetime event! *UPDATE* The Festival was awesome!... period... there's nothing more to say. We Rocked it... They Knew it. BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE... For those hardcore enough... Nod will be moving the party to Augustine's in Hammond for another show... we've got one of the best blues bands around "Hot Down South" to open for us so show up early and rock out with us! Show Begins at 9:30. *UPDATE* This was interesting... I lost my voice... but we covered... still a good show.... go figure... My band is the shit.

And... Lindsey from american idol was there and sang happy birthday with us... (doesn't that break her contract?) Well... it was worth it for her to get a chance to Rock out with NOD!! *LOL*
- March 24th [Thursday]Nod will finally be Rocking out at Clicks once again. Come join out and party with us in Baton Rouge! *UPDATE* Thanks for all the support at the show... you guys rock!
- March 16th[Wednesday]Nod will be at Mandeville High School for CrestFest! Nod will be headlining with many other acts to satisfy your need for new local music... acts to include The Hollywood Ten, Riley, Mavis, The Children, A Seperate Skyline, Acheron, Meddlei, Solace, The Jordan Garcie Experience and the one and only DECEPTICONS! There will also be a fashion show that will run through out the night... Come out the the Crestfest and support Local music... tickets on sale at the door for 6 bucks. *UPDATE* Crestfest was awesome... we raised over 2500 bucks for a good cause and got to rock out in front of over 500 kids... All the bands were great... it was amazing to see so much talent in one place. Special thanks to Sean Roy for running the cameras for me all night... Great job Brutha! And Glen... You definatly put your "Thang" down. To the Ford Brothers... amazing!... the same to Danny... you wailed man! We'd also like to thank Big J and Jacob for coming out and lending a hand! Hopefully we can do this again real soon!!!
- March 5th[Saturday]Nod will be at the Bar in Fat City for Jason's (The Owner) One Year Anniversary Party... Come Rock with Us! * UPDATE* Hahahahaaa... well... that was interesting... Chris played with us once again and damn it... he did awesome... hadn't picked up a bass in 3 months and played better than he ever did... oh... and we didn't get paid... we got a 50 dollar bar tab... so being the frugal guy I am... I cashed out our tab... in beer. We are going to get our monies worth no matter what!
- February 17th [Saturday]Nod will be playing at The Howling Wolf with Straight Through and Edge Set Mary... Nod goes on at 9pm sharp. This is an extremely important show... we have been trying to get into The Howling Wolf for like a year so we need to have a great turn out... if you can make it... please be there... If you can't... be there anyway!! *UPDATE* Oh Hells Yeah! What an awesome show... I don't know how many of you pay attention to this site but... we had a change in line up this week... due to problems within the band we decided to let our new bass player go... well... we had no idea what to do... we scrambled for a day then asked a friend to sit in with us for the set... Shannon from Exit 39... he agreed and came over wednesday and had one practice with us... The man is god on the bass... One day and we had the best show probably ever... it was unreal... he brought so much life to our music it was simply amazing. Now we are back at square one again... still looking for a bassist but it was refreshing to feel the power of our music again. So... Thanks Shannon... and Thanks Exit for loaning him to us for the show... hopefully we can find someone of his talents to fill the void he has left.

- January 22th[Saturday]Nod has once again had change our plans to play the state palace theatre... but this time with good reason... so instead of playing there on the 8th... we are going to play at The Hanger on the 22nd instead... email me if that confused you... lol. anyway... we will be playing with Cell, Straight Through, and Edge Set Mary! Please come out and show your support! *UPDATE* What an incredible night... Every Band Rocked out... We Threw down... we even did an encore... yeah... it freakin rocked! - January 6th[Thursday] – Nod will be playing the Xtreme Music Group Showcase in front of some Columbia, Epic, and Atlantic Records as well as a bunch of Minor Record Labels. Come support us at the Hard Rock Cafe in New Orleans at 8 PM! *UPDATE* Wow was that interesting... Nod rolled up to the Hard Rock about 7pm in Prime form... ready to play... we were scheduled for 8... we wound up not going on till like 9:20... They were running really behind. We did however make it just in time to see In Medias Res play and they rocked out... of course... eventually we got our shot and started to set up.... we were rush... everyone got 15 minutes to set up... we got 5... that part sucked... the stage was small... Jimi was all cramped up... but... We are Nod... are you kidding me... the bassline hit.... the guitars ripped... and my vocals pinged.... We did our thing the only way we know how. When we got done the crowd popped and we got to visit with the A&R reps. They dug it... Said and I Qoute... "You Guys have a Great Mainstream Rock Sound" that we "Have a very Unique Sound" That "The Vocals were extremely strong".... and last..."All you guys need is to write that one great hook" Overall it was a great night... Thanks to all of you who showed up and that support us... and a big thanks to Karis of In Medias Res for helping out My Guitarist by letting him us his guitar when Jesse pop a string at the beginning of our first song... you da man bro!... L8r!
- December 31th[Friday] – Nod is going back to THE BAR... We will be back in Fat City for a New Years Blow Out Bash-a-thon... yeah!! Come out and Ring in the New Year with NOD!! *UPDATE* Awesome show.... we did the countdown to 2005... Rocked some fireworks.... then tore up the stage with our newest member Jerry! The Young man has played with us for a week and held everything together like a pro... he even got cocky and stepped out to the front for a little headbanging action.... Well done my friend... Well... Done!
- December 11th[Saturday] – Nod is going back to Covington. We will be playing at the Sports Corner (formally known as The Firehouse) with a Powerhouse of a band called Human Error. We will also be bringing Edge Set Mary along with us.... not only will there be great bands playing... its also the Night of My Graduation from College and THUD's Birthday!! We are going to tear some shit up! Come out and Rock with us! *UPDATE* This was an awesome show... not only did we rock out... but we did so with our full old line up... yup thats right... we asked The sauce to come out and join us and it was.... Like a Glove... come see us for New Years and help us usher out the old and bring on the New!

- November 13th[Saturday]Nod's taking the show on the road... Westbank bound! We will be playing with a new band called Anaujairam at Jerry's on the corner of Bellchase and Bherman... with all new possibilities... bottom line... Nod's gonna take our new line up and break some shit! *UPDATE* First of all... I spelled the place wrong... its Gerry's not Jerry's... secondly... Anaujairam set was really cool. We had a great time over there and are looking forward to future bookings.
- November 5th[Friday]Nod will be doing an hour of live radio on KSLU 90.9fm. They have asked us to come on and tell the world about the joys of NOD and all about the new album. Be sure to tune in if you live in the "listening area" or if you don't... MOVE!! *Update* What you didn't listen?... Wrong tone... You are talking to my guy all wrong. Well... to catch you up.... NOD was on for 2 hours... we played all of our hits and as many rocking tunes from our friends as we could... I remember playing some 68 Rouge... some Exit 39... some IMR... a little Zync... a tidbit of Edge Set Mary and a few others... Nod took a bite for all of the Local bands in the area.... hopefully one of us will get famous and bring the others with um! Support the Rock....Baby!
- October 30th[Saturday] – We are scheduled to be back at "The Bar" for an encore performance. This time though it's Halloween and we are breaking out the big guns... It's gonna be a Rocking night featuring Your friendly neighborhood Rock Stars... NOD... got a new band slated to open for us that we hear nothing but positive talk about called Straight Through... We are gonna throw down at 10 and in our finest halloween costumes to boot. Come join the fun... its sure to be something You've got to see to believe!! *Update* Yeah... Dats right!... Nod took Fat City By Storm last night. Due to some... well.. to put it bluntly... Bullshit... Nod was a 4 man band again... but don't let that fool you... We ripped New Orleans a new asshole!!! We had a great band open for us who we hope to have many more shows with... those guys Rocked! All in all an awesome night and as of this morning... NOD consist of 3 letters... 4 men... and an undying fire that will consume the world! ROCK THE FUCK ON!
- October 23rd[Saturday] – Nod will be playing with a band we've been trying to hook up with for months... Edge Set Mary... for the first time at "The Bar" in Fat City!! Come see two "Monsters Of Rock" Throw down starting at 10pm. Be there!! *UPDATE* OMG if you weren't there... and you weren't... You missed an incredible show... the guys from Edge Set Mary blew the stage up... we love these guys... not only were they freakin awesome but they were really cool cats to boot. - August 21st[Saturday] – Nod is at Ledbetters in Ponchatoula back with the band that gave us our first break... the newly reformed Exit 39!!! *UPDATE* FUN show... Thanks to Exit 39 for having us out there and to Vertigo Sun... You guys freakin rocked. Nod will be opening for Revelation Theory.. big names from out of town! Plus... Monday is Ladies Night with 2 for 1 Mixed Drinks, $1.75 Coors Light and $2.50 Imports... Come check us out and support Local Music baby!*UPDATE* Hell F-in Yeah!! Last night was Great! Revelation Theory Kicked much ass... very impressed I must say. - July 31st [Saturday] – Nod is at "The Bar" in Fat City... 3224 Edenborn. In Medias Res will not be with us due to unforseen circumstances but Persona Five has our back and will take to the stage around 10:45pm but get there early and bring some friends cuz NOD is pulling out the stops. We are bringing with us a brand new band called Human Error to open the show with a banging 30 minute set.... This promises to be a great show.... and... If all goes well this will be the site of Nod's First true CD release party! *UPDATE* Well... all didn't go well... we didn't get our CD's in before the show... so... there ya go... but we did have a kick ass show and much fun was had by all... big thanks to Human Error and Persona Five for coming out and Rocking there asses off. - July 24st [Saturday] – Nod will be Headlining back in Arabie... Come out and see Nod, In Medias Res, and newly added Peyote Oasis at Burmaster's Basement! *UPDATE* What an awesome show... we had a great time... Nod would like to thank both bands for coming out with us... Peyote Oasis had their first show ever and did a bang up job.. and as for In Medias Res... if you weren't there... you have no idea what you missed... I've been a fan for a long time... I've been to many of there shows... My band has played with them many.... many times... This by far was the best show I've ever seen! thank you guys sooo much for being who you are and doing what you do... the world is better for having you guys in it. - June 26th [Saturday] - We will be playing in Slidell at Natal's with Zync. *UPDATE* Natal's has had the best stage we have played to date. Nice place... Nice people... - June 12th [Saturday] - We will be playing the State Palace Theatre with Exit 39!! *UPDATE* State Palace blows up in our face... but your heros in Nod refuse to go down... Nod pulls a show out our ass and find a new home for Rock... We would like to thank Burmaster's Basement in Arabie for hooking us up and for you loyal few who joined us for our first headlining... only band there... Gig! - June 10th [Thursday] - We will be playing once again with In Medias Res down at the Hi Ho Lounge - 2239 St. Claude Ave. New Orleans, LA! *UPDATE* What a wonderful night. 4 band played... In Medias Res, Axis Down, Nod, and The Dead Pets (a punk band from the UK). It was most excellent. All the bands were great. The atmosphere of the venue was perfect. All that plus a 12 pack of Schiltz per band... what more could up and coming Rock Gods want? Check out our links page to find out about the bands we play with.
- June 5th [Thursday] - Nod will be playing at the 441 club in Kentwood! *UPDATE* Due to circumstances beyond our control this show has been cancelled.
- May 21st - 23rd [Weekend] - NOD will be in Mississippi laying down tracks for our much anticipated full album now simply titled "NOD". The Studio is way out in the Middle of nowhere so we can become one with the music and give you guys the ROCK you deserve. *UPDATE* We are back and if you haven't heard by now you soon will... The Unmastered Studio Work is off the freakin chain. Everyone associated with NOD is besides themselves at the work of our members and of our engineer at Route One in Mississippi... The weekend was incredible and it shows in the final product. The Cd will be sent off to be mastered and will be back and for sale around the end of June... Look of for our CD Release party and look out for NOD... We're going world wide baby!!
- May 5th [Wednesday] - We will be playing the last Project Improv Show Of the Sememster at SLU in the War Memorial Student Union Theater. Show starts at 9pm *UPDATE* Show went well... the crowd was slim... but... Shawn made is debut infront of his people and passed his trial by fire... good times.
- April 23rd [Friday] - In Medias Res has invitied us to play with them and 92% at Augustine's in Hammond. Looks to be a really slamming show... please come out and support us! *UPDATE* This was by far our best show to date. Our two new guys proved their worth... everyone had a great time... Hell I've completely lost My Voice... you know I was having fun! NOD would like to thank In Medias Res for having us once again and Thanks to all of you guys who came out to support us!! The Album is Coming Be Patient.
- April 4th [Sunday] - We will be playing the Strawberry festival at 5pm on 6th street in Ponchatoula - *Update* This was our first show with our two new guitarists... they did a wonderful job... things per normal were clustered up but we pulled it off... the crowd popped... the Festival people were satisfied... all in all... not bad... If anyone that came out to support us has video or photos please get in touch with us! And I would like to give a big thanks to Woot, Big J, and Blake... you guys saved our asses!!
- February 28th [Saturday] - Playing a show At Mule's in Hammond with In Medias Res... The Monsters of Post Modern Rock Take to the stage at 10pm... *update*... The show was by far our best yet. We went on at 10:30 did about a 50 minute set... pretty big crowd... alot of yelling and screaming and happiness. We were scouted by Allied Productions... and made a really good impression on the club... the train is chuggin along strong!
- February 19th [Thursday] - Show for Turducken Production at the Mermaid Lounge in New Orleans with In Medias Res and Axes Down ends before it begins... lessons were learned... In Medias Res goes Rebel and Plays on their back porch above Mule's... gets thru one song and gets shut down... Sometimes ya just gotta Rock!
- February 11th [Wednesday] - Project Improv at the Student Union Theater of SLU... show kicked much ass... Biggest audience yet... Big thanks to PI!...
